Imagine a busy mom who slowly chips away at building her writing business during nap times and after bed times, burning the candle at both ends and not seeing any reward for her work. Still she persists. There's so much she doesn't know -- as an indie, she's spending the wee hours figuring out marketing and covers and platforms, doing all the hard work behind the writing and struggling to keep up with the ever-changing publishing business. But before the first word is sold, she knows one thing -- she wants to give back. She doesn't have a lot of money, but one day she dreams of cutting big checks and rallying a community around a cause of giving and sharing the blessings of a life lived generously.

And so she institutes the TITHE. For every book written, a cause will be picked -- a verified charity with a great need. And every month, TEN PERCENT of the sales of the book will collected, to be distributed annually during the month of first publishing.

It is the author's dream to have a tithe for every month of the year, and to spend that month raising funds and awareness and covering the cause in prayer and volunteerism and teaching her children what love looks like in action.
